The Department of Paediatrics at G.R. Medical College is committed to the comprehensive education of medical students in child health, covering the physical, emotional, and developmental aspects of care for infants, children, and adolescents. The department blends academic learning with immersive clinical training to build strong foundations in paediatric diagnosis and management. Students are exposed to real-world scenarios including neonatal care, immunization programs, nutritional assessments, and paediatric emergencies. In addition, the department places a strong emphasis on preventive paediatrics and community involvement, ensuring that students are prepared to advocate for and deliver child-friendly healthcare both in hospital settings and underserved communities.
